Meghan McMillin holds a Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). She has also earned credentials as a Board Certified Specialist in Pediatric Nutrition (CSP) and a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC).
Meghan has worked clinically for several years at a local hospital covering the women’s, NICU, and pediatric units. Currently, she operates the outpatient pediatric nutrition clinic, caring for children with a wide variety of needs including failure to thrive, allergies, picky eating, and obesity. Previously, Meghan worked as a dietitian in a holistic fertility clinic, where she collaborated with acupuncturists, massage therapists, yoga instructors, and reproductive endocrinologists to provide total care for pregnant women and those trying to conceive. It was some of her most rewarding work, helping her to recognize the importance of treating the whole person, not just diet.
